This Privacy Policy applies to the Cider Vault mobile application and related support services operated by KOSKOV (the “Service Provider,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Cider Vault is an offline cellar assistant for cider batch records, fermentation metrics, cultivar references, blending plans, vessel notes, yeast strain records, and measurement trends.
2. What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. This data is not retained or used for tracking.
If you contact KOSKOV directly by email or through a website contact form, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, company or project details, and message. This information is used only to respond to your request.
3. Location information
The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.
4. Third-party access and sharing
Since the Application does not collect personal information, no app data is shared with third parties. KOSKOV does not sell personal data.
5. Data Retention
Cider Vault does not collect or retain personal data on KOSKOV servers. Any batch names, production stages, SG readings, TA values, pH values, MLF status, cultivar selections, vessel names, start dates, volumes, yeast strain records, style notes, observations, apple blend percentages, trend histories, measurement reminders, date format preferences, sorting preferences, and app settings are intended to remain locally on the user's device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
If you voluntarily contact KOSKOV, we may keep your message and contact details only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, manage support communication, and maintain basic business records where required by applicable law.
6. Data Deletion
Because Cider Vault does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling the Application removes the app from your device. Locally saved app records are controlled by the user through their device and app storage controls.
If you voluntarily provided information to KOSKOV by email or another direct contact method, you may request deletion of that information by contacting support@koskov.ink. We will process deletion requests where required by applicable law, unless retention is necessary for legitimate legal, security, or business record purposes.
7. Opt-out rights
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, there is no tracking or marketing data collection to opt out from. You can stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it.
8. Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s personal data is not collected by app use alone.
9. Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure from app use is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. KOSKOV uses reasonable safeguards for systems and any information voluntarily provided through direct contact.
10. Data breach notification
Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information you voluntarily provided, KOSKOV will notify you as required by applicable law.
11. Responsible use notice
Cider Vault is a farmhouse cider cellar assistant, offline multi-batch fermentation tracker, apple cultivar reference library, blending percentage planner, fermentation chemistry notebook, SG / TA / pH / MLF measurement archive, vessel log, yeast strain tracker, trend history, and private cellar workspace utility. It is not alcohol sales software, a liquor marketplace, an alcohol delivery service, a drinking promotion platform, a legal compliance tool, a commercial brewery certification system, food safety certification software, medical nutrition advice, or a replacement for local alcohol laws, responsible production rules, food safety practices, laboratory testing, professional cider-making judgment, or regulatory requirements.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
KOSKOV may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be posted with an updated effective date. Previous versions can be requested by contacting KOSKOV.
13. Your consent
If you voluntarily provide information and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
